Stress is something that is unavoidable. Stress can be positive and negative. Stress can impact how we feel and function. Stress can also lead to burnout. In this webinar you will learn strategies to assist with stress and prevent burnout

- A review of self-help strategies

Resilience has been defined as the ability to bounce back from challenges or setbacks. Resilience is not something that people are born with or without, but instead is something that can be developed through adopting some new behaviors. We will discuss some of those behaviors in this workshop.

Stand with Me, and Assistance Dog Team Training organization will be offering a session that provides employees with an understanding of what a service animal is, what public access rights individuals with services animals have, what is and isn't a service animal, and ettiquette and responsibilities around service animals.
This session is provided by Stand with Me, in partnership with the Conrad and Virginia Klee Foundation, and will be provided in person in room UUW 324 from 12-1pm.
Please note, while this event does take place during the lunch hour, we are not able to provide lunch, so please BYOL!
It is also important to note that there will be a service dog at this event, if you are unable to attend due to allergies or any other reason, please reach out for a copy of the presentation.

Join us to learn about what research in the areas of diet and nutrition, exercise, cognitive activity and social engagement can tell us, and use hands on tools to help you incorporate these recommendations into a plan for healthy aging! This is a two part series, which will allow us to take a deeper dive on these important topics!

In this workshop, we discuss the benefits of being “mindful”, or as some have described it, "living in the present." Additionally, we discuss barriers to being mindful, and some strategies we can follow as we eliminate those things adding stress to our lives.

In this workshop, we will focus on changing our perspective on stress in our lives. The focus will be on recognizing our currently held beliefs around stress in our lives, and how those beliefs may be impacting our coping abilities and overall wellness. Practical strategies for changes we can make in our lives to live a more hopeful and optimistic life, while learning how to embrace and tackle the challenges we face, will be shared.
