Asian Student Union (ASU) is one of the largest cultural organizations in Binghamton University (SUNY). Representing roughly 20% of its Asian and Asian American undergraduate/graduate students, ASU along with our seven subgroups, serve to defy stereotypes, define culture, maintain a sense of tradition, and what it is to be Asian American in today's world.

Our subgroups include Asian Outlook (AO), Binghamton University Japanese Association (BUJA), Chinese American Student Union (CASU), Korean American Student Association (KASA), Philippine-American League (PAL), Taiwanese American Student Coalition (TASC), and Vietnamese Student Association (VSA).

ASU and its subgroups host events that uplift the diverse community that is representative of the Asian/American and Pacific Islander community. Varying from annual cultural showcases such as "Asian Night" and Barrio to night markets, food-making and craft-making workshops, becoming a general body member of one organization means that you join them all.

The objective of the Fujianese Union (FJU) is to increase the cultural awareness of Fujianese culture among Binghamton University students and the campus at large. FJU will focus on the unique traditions observed within Fujianese culture. FJU will encourage and support the diversity of the university by uniting all people who share an interest in learning, respecting, and comprehending Fujianese culture and the Fujianese experience. It would provide Fujianese individuals a home away from home, thereby helping them stay connected with their roots. It's important to note that the majority of our Chinese students are from Fujian/have a Fujianese background, yet they know very little of their culture and traditions since their unique culture has been condensed into a broad, oversimplified "Chinese" identity.

The purpose of Binghamton Students for Autism Acceptance is to engage the campus community and the local community through awareness, education and fundraising and in so doing, positively affect the lives of those with autism spectrum disorders and their families. The chapter will raise autism awareness by hosting awareness, advocacy, and fundraising events. The Black Dance Repertoire of Binghamton University was founded in 1985 with the vision of bringing a unique art of dance to the Binghamton campus. We are a multi-racial and ethnic dance group whose purpose is to entertain the campus community with an outlook of dance in all of its forms.

This is accomplished through hosting practices and various events to teach the membership various jump rope skills including single rope, double dutch, and long rope. BU Science teaches weekly science lessons and experiments to kindergarten through fifth grade students. Members meet to gather and exchange supplies, travel via car, and teach lessons and experiments to an assigned elementary school classroom on a weekly basis. BU Science members also have the opportunity to work with fourth grade students and help them develop their own science projects to be displayed at an annual science fair, and participate in the Nutrition Project which educates fourth graders about the importance of healthy eating and exercise.

The Harpur Harpeggios, fondly known as "The Pegs," comprise the only soprano-alto a cappella group at Binghamton University in Vestal, New York. The Pegs typically consist of eight to twenty members (though the size is not restricted to these numbers). Anyone who can sing soprano and/or alto voice parts is welcome to audition for the Pegs, regardless of gender identity. The Pegs, formed in 1983, was spawned by one visionary member of the Harpur Chorale. They have since grown to compete internationally in multiple ICCA (International Competition for Collegiate A Cappella Championships) tournaments, be featured on the social media of Kelly Clarkson and Atlantic Records, and even perform on the Radio City Music Hall stage to open for the Rockettes' Christmas Spectacular.

With a mission to decrease the high school drop out rate through mentoring, while increasing student enrollment into institutions of higher education, J.U.M.P. Nation helps supply at-risk middle school students with the necessary tools to help them overcome socio-economic issues and gives Binghamton University student the rare opportunity to help support and guide the academic success and personal vision of youth. The founders of J.U.M.P. Nation believed that the most effective way to help combat problems such as the combination of social, political, and economic factors that might prevent or deter students from reaching their educational goals and receiving the type of quality education they deserve, was to motivate students to pursue higher education at an early age. Thus, to achieve the goals set forth by our mission statement, J.U.M.P. Nation selects approximately 100 students, called prot├®g├®s, to participate in a four day, all-expense-paid weekend program at Binghamton University. Prot├®g├®s are paired with Binghamton University students with the hopeful intention of promoting higher education as a viable objective and the hopeful intention of providing them with influential individuals who encourage the fulfillment of their goals. As a network of support that helps them overcome obstacles throughout their high school careers, while simultaneously introducing them to an environment of higher education, Binghamton University students are presented with the rare and rewarding opportunity to make a positive difference in the life of underprivileged youth who have been neglected, unrecognized, and ignored.

MEDLIFE stands for Medicine, Education, and Development for Low Income Families Everywhere. We are an organization that partners with low-income communities in Latin America to improve their access to medicine, education, and community development initiatives. Our club gives members the opportunity to embark on Medical Missions and Mobile Clinics in various countries around the world. A MEDLIFE Mobile Clinic is a basic medical clinic that we bring directly to the poor. Staffed not only by general practitioners, each clinic provides patients with dental, OB/GYN, and pediatric care, as well as access to preventative tests. Mobile Clinic participants have the opportunity to work closely with and learn from our medical professionals first hand.

Minecraft Club is a casual club on campus that hosts regular events in-person weekly, as well as a 24/7 Minecraft server that is available to anyone on and off-campus. The National Association of Black Accountants is a pre professional organization designed to address the needs of underrepresented students interested in various business disciplines; and promote the development of skills and talents central to successful careers in the future. B.M.M.M.O, which is now known as NABA, was founded in 1981, on the Binghamton University Campus by Anthony Kendall, who is currently the CEO of Mitchell and Titus, LLP.
We hold seminars, and workshops, as well as recruit professional speakers from all business fields in order to execute our mission. One of our paramount events for the year is attending the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA) conference. The NABA conference helps prepare students for a future in corporate America. The conference consists of a four-day weekend packed with networking with hundreds of professionals and students in the business field, while enhancing job-searching opportunities.
In addition, we partake in numerous community service events, and host an annual banquet where students receive the opportunity to network with Binghamton alumni, while enjoying themselves with dinner and entertainment.
