The primary purpose of the Teachers in Mathematics Association shall be to (1) create a community of undergraduate and graduate students with an interest in mathematics education; (2) share ideas and resources; (3) prepare members for a career in mathematics education; (4) engage in professional growth activities; and (5) develop and provide mathematics opportunities to students from birth to grade 12 in local schools and non-profit organizations.
