Meditation Club provides an opportunity to practice self care and mindfulness via mediation. In the club we learn about, discuss, reflect on, and practice various forms of meditation and mindfulness. We usually meet twice a week for around an hour which is split between meditation and learning and talking about meditation. Everyone is welcome to share insights, stories, thoughts, etc. as the group is a learning experience for everyone. Each meeting is a chance for students to relax, center themselves, walk away with a new perspective, a sense of connectedness, and maybe a bit of wisdom. The club platforms opportunities for students to open their minds, bodies and hearts through yoga and mindfulness practices. The union of likeminded people inspires health, celebrates community, and promotes active lives.
