About Us
The purpose of the Indian International Student Union (IISU) is to preserve and promote the heritage of South Asian-Americans. We aim to gain recognition throughout the Binghamton campus while enriching and fulfilling the needs of our members and community. We host social and cultural events, invite guest speakers and hold forums. We emphasize the value of staying in touch with one's roots, contemporary social issues, and global current events. We warmly encourage the participation of all students, regardless of their cultural backgrounds, to experience and learn more about South Asian culture to ultimately increase awareness across the university.
