The Binghamton University Explorchestra is dedicated to the advancement of students' original music compositions. Explorchestra provides an opportunity for student composers to showcase their original work, and allows student musicians to perform new pieces written by themselves and their peers. Explorchestra fuses the orchestral tradition with the singer/songwriter approach in that the composers and the performers are the same people.
