MLK Days of Service – Identity Youth Center
by Center for Civic Engagement
Back to Martin Luther King Jr. Days of Service - MLK Series 2026
Details
In collaboration with the Q-Center and MRC, the Center for Civic Engagement is providing a day of service volunteer opportunity at the Identity Youth Center in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Looking for a hands-on way to give back to the community? Join us for a volunteer project at the Identity Youth Center! We're sprucing up the space with window cleaning and general organization to ensure the center is a welcoming and vibrant place for the youth it serves.
Your efforts will directly support the Identity Youth Center’s mission to provide a safe and inclusive space for LGBTQ+ youth and allies. Whether you have a knack for cleaning or simply want to lend a hand, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a tangible impact.
No experience is necessary, just bring your energy and enthusiasm! Free transportation to and from the Identity Youth Center will be provided. Student volunteers will begin loading onto an OCCT blue bus in front of the University Union at 10:15am. The OCCT bus will then pick up volunteers at 12:45pm and arrive back at the Union by 1:15pm.
Join us in creating a brighter, cleaner and more organized environment for the amazing youth in our community!
