Although Perth is famous for its beautiful beaches and relaxed lifestyle, those looking for music, arts and culture, festivals, markets, or cafés and restaurants can easily find them in the city's nearby central port city of Fremantle.
Binghamton University offers two different programs in Australia—a fall/spring semester option, as well as a summer semester option that has an emphasis on researching marine biology. From pop culture to career potential, Asia has emerged as this century's leader in technology, arts, and business. Binghamton University and SUNY offer unique opportunities to study at some of the most prestigious schools in Asia, such as Korea University in Seoul and Waseda University in Tokyo. Our Transition and (Transfer)mation Summit is your opportunity to engage with other new transfer students, get a jump start on your career development, and begin to get acclimated to Binghamton University and the local community.
Our summit will be a day and a half starting at 4:00pm on Thursday, August 14th and ending after dinner on Friday, August 15th. Those students who live on campus will be allowed to move in early to accommodate the summit. Additional information about the move-in process will be communicated as we get closer. As a result of participating in the summit, students will:
Gain a vast knowledge of academic, social/emotional and career resources available to them on the Binghamton University campus
Start to create a sense of belonging on campus and within the greater Binghamton Community
Gain a deeper understanding of their career exploration and potential career paths
