About Us

The Black Dance Repertoire of Binghamton University was founded in 1985 with the vision of bringing a unique art of dance to the Binghamton campus. We are a multi-racial and ethnic dance group whose purpose is to entertain the campus community with an outlook of dance in all of its forms. Since its inception, Black Dance Repertoire performs for many events on campus sponsored by student organizations, administrative offices, and athletic programs. "BDR" as its most commonly known, extends its services to the Binghamton community events and organizations. Black Dance Repertoire's annual dance exhibition Expos├®, features not only the dance creation of the organization but the talents performed by fellow students on campus.
