Comrade,
Welcome back! Our first meeting of the semester is coming up TOMORROW, FEBRUARY 2nd, at 5:30 pm, in FA 246. Please be sure to register for the event on B-Engaged.
We will be discussing our ongoing and new campaigns, and hearing the first reading of a proposed amendment to our constitution that would simplify the voting procedures of the chapter.
Let Us Know:
Unfortunately, our Treasurer has had to step down at the beginning of this semester, and therefore we have a vacancy in the office. Because this vacancy occurred during the Spring Semester, the Central Committee will appoint a member in good standing to fill the role. If you are interested in serving, please email us at bingydsa@gmail.com by Wednesday, February 9th at 12 pm EST. If at that time no member has stepped forward, the Central Committee has decided at our previous meeting, that we will use sortition to choose a member to serve.
Please let us know if you are interested in attending YDSA's National Winter Conference in Chicago, April 1st through 3rd. If you are interested in attending the event and meeting other YDSA members from around the country, please let us know by filling out this form. Early bird registration closes soon, so it is important that anyone who might want to go lets us know as soon as possible.
In addition, I am still asking for responses to This Voluntary Survey of our members and supporters so that we can get a better sense of our chapter. It is relatively short and should only take a few minutes at most.
Binghamton DSA will be hosting a series of organizing trainings to help develop a more robust membership. If you are interested, fill this form.
