Join the Writing Studies Minor and Mountainview Residential Life for a Writing Extravaganza on Wednesday, February 25th at 7:00PM in APP 111 (the Mountainview Appalachian Dining Hall Room 111). Grab some pizza, decorate a free journal, and enjoy meeting new friends! At the event, we will be celebrating and workshopping all types of writing including civic writing, journaling, creative writing, resume and cover letter writing, and academic writing! Students will get free journals to decorate with stickers. There will be creative writing prompts as well as tutoring on academic writing. Get help on your papers, discover publication opportunities, learn how to write a letter to support a community issue you care about, upgrade your cover letters, or just come hungry with a pen. All genres and levels welcome at this Writing Extravaganza! The following campus partners, publications, and organizations will be at this event: Harpur Edge, The Writing Center, Fleishman Center, Library Services, Happy Medium, Pipe Dream, Content Creator Club, Center for Civic Engagement, Triple Cities Magazine, and B-Healthy providing journals!
