Call for Student Posters!

The Binghamton University Geography Department, in conjunction with the GIS and Remote Sensing Core Facility, is hosting its 6th Annual GIS Day on November 12th. A major part of the day is showcasing how students work with GIS. Cash prizes for Top 3 Grad and UG Posters!

• 1st- $50
• 2nd- $35
• 3rd- $25

Interested students should upload their posters to http://giscore.binghamton.edu/gisday/posters.html. 

Submission deadline is November 5th, 2021.

New Resource

London-based author, data-journalist and information designer, David McCandless has recently published a new tome--Beautiful News: Positive Trends, Uplifting Stats, Creative Solutions. The publication is inspired by his team's Beautiful News Daily project.
