Gender Bender Fridays will be held from 4-6 p.m. every fourth Friday of the month in the Q Center (LS-G549). Gender Bender Fridays highlight our newly redesigned Gender Bender Walk-In Clothing Closet in the back room of the Q Center and also provide a critical investigation into gendered fashion and resisting the gender binary. Come to hang out and leave with some new outfits, friends, and information! Each Gender Bender Friday will explore a new topic of discussion. We hope to see you for the next one!
Launched last semester, the Gender Bender Walk-In Clothing Closet was specifically created with transgender and gender non-conforming people in mind. We hope this closet will be an affirming place for everyone to explore their gender and resist the gender binary. We are always taking donations of most clothing items including shoes, belts, and other accessories.
The Multicultural Resource Center, Q Center and the Women, Gender and Sexuality Studies program invite you to attend the Empowerment Brunch: celebrating women, non-binary folks and people of all marginalized genders, on Sunday, March 27, in honor of Women's Empowerment Month. Join us for a brunch networking event and panel discussion.

In this week's Deep Dive Session, we will be Unpacking Cis-Het Privilege. Privilege is central to the ways in which people show up as allies to LGBTQ folks. Because of this, the Unpacking Cis-Het Privilege Deep Dive is a required portion of the Safe Zone Active Ally Program.
In this workshop, participants will join in conversations and activities that examine the privileges afforded to cisgender and heterosexual people in society and how they intersect with other privileges.
Deep dive sessions are intended for participants who have previously completed an Active Ally Foundations session and/or have a substantial knowledge of foundational allyship concepts. Participants who complete a deep dive session will be provided with an Active Ally sticker to visually illustrate your commitment to active allyship of the LGBTQ+ community to others across campus!
**Registration on B-Engaged is required to participate! Visit our Active Ally page to register or click the links above and below. All workshops are subject to cancellation if registration minimums are not met.**
