The “Purchasing 101” training class will provide practical tips and best practices for learning how to become efficient in the University procurement process. This procurement training class will cover a variety of topics, including directions on how to submit a requisition, the documentation requirements in order to receive a PO for different dollar thresholds, information on the University's contract management workflow, followed by a Q&A period. Overall, this procurement training class will help University staff members enhance their procurement skills and knowledge, ultimately leading to improved procurement outcomes and increased value for the university.

Canva is a powerful design tool that can be used to create physical and digital advertisements, flyers, presentations, and more. Canva offers both a free and paid version. This course is intended for faculty and staff at all levels who are looking to create visually appealing projects.

In the first half of this in-person class, we will discuss charts: how to determine which chart to use, the differences between the x and y axis, selecting data and adding elements to your chart. In the second half of the class, we will discuss formulas including AutoSum, IF, Concatenate, and more.
