This workshop is designed to help graduate students identify suitable academic conferences in their fields and plan their submissions effectively.

Since this is a workshop, it would be especially helpful to bring a draft abstract if you already have one, so you can receive feedback from the professors during the session. You are also welcome to draft an abstract for next year’s TRIP Graduate Conference theme, “Translation Across Boundaries”. Possible directions for this theme might include:

translation across linguistic and cultural boundaries
migration, exile, and diaspora
audiovisual translation across media and audiences
AI and machine translation
accessibility and sensory boundaries
censorship, resistance, and ideological boundaries
We are pleased to have Professor Jeanette Patterson and Professor Ahmad Ayyad as our speakers.

Food and refreshments will be provided.
