Plot synopsis: Edith Can Shoot Things and Hit Them is a sweet and funny coming-of-age story about independence, love, and their consequences. Edith and her brother Kenny are on the remotest farm in the Midwest, trying to get through school while raising each other in the process. Their only visitor is Kenny’s friend Benji, a nerdy classmate. When Kenny’s and Benji’s relationship becomes more than friendship, and Edith shoots something she really shouldn’t shoot, the formerly indifferent outside world comes barging in whether they want it to or not.
