She Kills Monsters tells the story of Agnes Evans as she prepares to leave her childhood home in Ohio after the death of her teenage sister, Tilly. Agnes stumbles upon Tilly’s Dungeons & Dragons® notebook, and finds herself propelled into a journey of discovery and adventure in the imaginary world that was her sister’s refuge. In this dramatic comedy laden with ‘90s pop culture and a slew of demons and monsters, acclaimed playwright Qui Nguyen offers an action-packed homage to the geek and the warrior within us all.
