In Pieces is a new musical review with a pop-musical theatre score whose emotional sensitivity and anthemic bops explore the romantic journeys of eight contemporary twentysomethings seeking love in the city as they share, ponder, and reflect on their chosen paths and partners along the way. There's the scary excitement of being vulnerable and boldly saying yes to the adventures ahead. The magical first kiss. Unlikely friendships. Well-kept secrets. Monotony. Rebounds. An awkward reunion on the subway. And honest conversations of deserving more. All these pieces of life at times connect and disconnect, but from a distance they come together to create a universal mosaic of what it's like to be young and learning in love.
