Campus Speaker: Julissa Calderon Founder and CEO of LaJulissa's Dream & Manifest Journal

The Student Affairs Divisional Diversity Committee in conjunction with DSA and LASU is bringing Julissa Calderon to campus on Wednesday, April 17th at 7pm in the Old Union.

Julissa Calderon is the Founder and CEO of LaJulissa's Dream & Manifest Journal brand: https://www.dreamandmanifestjournal.com/our-founder. Being inspired by all her years of journaling and manifesting her dreams into reality, she launched her first journal in 2021 titled, MANIFEST THAT SH*T! After a successful run from that first journal, she's gone to develop and launch this second edition journal focused on introspection and healing called, Are You Ready to Manifest?

Aside from being an entrepreneur, Julissa Calderon is an accomplished actress, writer/director, public speaker, and activist: https://www.imdb.com/name/nm2665254/. She is best known for playing the dynamic roles in shows like Netflix's GENTEFIED, and Amazon Prime's WITH LOVE. Julissa is driven by her passion of illuminating and celebrating Afro-Latinx women and culture, and representing her beloved Dominican Republic every step of the way. She continues to be an accomplished all-around talent, and has been named to illustrious lists like: Variety's coveted Latinx Actors to Watch, and most recently to Adweek's glitzy Young Influentials of 2022.
