Our Transition and (Transfer)mation Summit is your opportunity to engage with other new transfer students, get a jump start on your career development, and begin to get acclimated to Binghamton University and the local community. Our summit will be a day and a half starting at 4:00pm on Thursday, August 13th and ending after dinner on Friday, August 14th. Those students who live on campus will be allowed to move in early to accommodate the summit. Additional information about the move-in process will be communicated as we get closer. As a result of participating in the summit, students will: Gain a vast knowledge of academic, social/emotional and career resources available to them on the Binghamton University campus, Start to create a sense of belonging on campus and within the greater Binghamton Community, Gain a deeper understanding of their career exploration and potential career paths and Food Provided (Dinner on Thursday Night, Breakfast on Friday Morning, & Lunch on Friday. We will stop at Sugar Lips Ice Cream on our way back to campus from the Community Service project, however, cost is on your own.)

The Union welcomes all students to join us in The Undergrounds, located in The Union, to check out the Undergrounds space! Come check out our game offerings, including foosball, shuffleboard, table tennis, billiards, and our console gaming systems. And don't forget to visit the bowling lanes featuring automatic scoring! Bowling is FREE for currently enrolled undergraduate and graduate students. Shoe rental is just 50 cents. In addition, be sure to check out our rentable items in the RecRe Boxes as well. We feature a variety of games and supplies for students to rent for FREE. It's happening at The Union, so come check us out!

Want to add some decorations to your room? Looking for that perfect poster? Then come out to the annual poster sale held on The Spine outside The Union. A wide range of posters will be available for sale including a variety of sizes including 8x10, 11x17, 18x24, 12x36 and 24x36 inch posters. Come check it out! In addition, students are encouraged to submit artwork to the Global Prints website to have an opportunity to have their artwork included in Global Prints offerings to promote student creativity and engagement. Global Prints will choose the top 3 submissions for a $500 award for 1st place, $250 for 2nd place and $100 for 3rd place.
