Details
Activities include open access to FitSpace and group fitness classes, open lap swim times at the pool, giant versions of games like Jenga, Connect 4 and Uno, fun yard games like cornhole and kan jam and fast-paced sports like spikeball, pickleball and badminton.
There will also be refreshments and a chance to win giveaways! Feel free to drop by at any point during the event to play. Remember to bring your BingU ID for access.
Rec Day, or National Intramural and Recreational Sports Association's (NIRSA's) birthday, celebrates the vision set in motion by Dr. William Wasson and his colleagues at the first NIRSA Conference: To celebrate health, activity, competition, and inclusive participation.

11:15 AM – 12:00 PM
Celebrate Rec Day with Campus Recreation at a Bootcamp class taught by Cassie. Bootcamp is a full-body workout that engages every major muscle group through a blend of bodyweight exercises and equipment. No fitness membership is required, just remember to bring your BingU ID!
12:15 PM – 1:00 PM
BODYPUMP is a music-based barbell class that works all your major muscle groups using light to moderate weights with lots of repetition. This class is available to all students, including students who do not have a fitness membership. Don't forget to bring your BingU ID!
1:15 PM – 2:00 PM
Yoga is a practice where smooth transitions between poses create a flow sequence. This class is available to all students, even students without a fitness membership. Don't forget to bring your BingU ID!
2:15 PM – 3:00 PM
Spinning® is a rhythmic, music-based indoor cycling class that focuses on endurance, strength and, intervals of varying intensity for a high energy workout. This class is available to both fitness members and non-members, but you must reserve your spot in class at recreation.binghamton.edu!
