Breast Cancer Walk

The purpose of this event is to raise awareness of Breast Cancer and the importance of frequent check-ups as early detection could greatly decrease the amount of battles that are lost against this difficult fight. As an organization that focuses on issues that concern women of color, it is important for us to recognize and mention that women of color are disproportionately being affected by Breast Cancer due to multiple systemic issues such as racism, health care inequality, classism, and many more.
