The Pre-Law Advising Office at Binghamton is pleased to host this session alongside Dawn Adelson and Victor Moritz, two Binghamton graduates who have gone on to successful careers as attorneys. Both Dawn and Victor were the first in their families to pursue law, and so they had to learn a lot along the way -- how to make good use of their time at Binghamton, how to succeed in law school, and how to make their way in the legal field. In this session, they will share the lessons they learned and lead us in a conversation about the best ways to prepare. They will also discuss the wide variety of legal careers available and what lawyers actually do on the job, using their own work as examples -- Dawn works as a litigator in medical malpractice cases, and Victor is an arbitrator.
This event is open to all incoming and current Binghamton students, as well as to alumni. The session will be held on Zoom, and you must register in order to attend. The meeting link will be sent around by email on the morning of the event. Please contact prelaw@binghamton.edu with any questions.
