Did you know that two-thirds of law school applicants take at least one gap year between undergrad and law school? Almost one-in-five take more than three! It is much more common than many applicants think, and it can be a great option, depending on your circumstances.

The Pre-Law Advising Office is pleased to host several recent BU graduates for a conversation on taking a gap year (or gap years) before law school. Each of our panelists has graduated from BU in the last three years and during their gap years have done a number of interesting things, including working as paralegals and for non-profits. They will talk through their decisions to take gap years, how they planned for that time off, and what they did (or are currently doing). There will be plenty of time for discussion, so bring your questions.

This session is open to all BU students and alumni.

The event will be held on Zoom, and the meeting link will be sent in advance to those who register.
