Pi Tau Sigma is the mechanical engineering honor society. It was established in 1915 on 3 principles - integrity, service, and leadership. Junior and senior mechanical engineering students in the top 25% of their class are invited to join Binghamton's New York Alpha Eta chapter of Pi Tau Sigma. Members exemplify the society's mission by participating in professional, social, and service events every semester.
