Partners in Health is a is a global non-for-profit organization dedicated to bringing the benefits of modern medical science to those most in need of them as we believe that health care is a human right. By partnering with communities, strengthening health systems, and addressing the social determinants of an individual's health, we work to break the cycle of poverty and disease. As an engage team on campus, we focus on raising awareness in the Binghamton community for the issues that PIH is actively working to improve. Subsequently, we also hold advocacy and educational events to help inform students and faculty about health disparities in developing countries and how they can take action to make a change. We also help fundraise to provide the means necessary for PIH to enact its programs.
Please join us for our first general interest meeting this Wednesday night! We are also looking for new E-board members, so make sure to stop by for more info on how to apply!
