Art Exhibition: "The Printers Cabinet and Other Considerations": Original Lithographs by Tim Sheesley

Welcome to the Cabinet Series,1995-2022 is a series of lithographs based on a simple rectangular structure, a generalized form of a primitive cabinet. The cabinet becomes the cornerstone structure or platform for isolated still-life objects. As a metaphor, the cabinet represents the containment of substance. Objects depicted in relation to the cabinet are arranged in space, not unlike an altar top or niche to draw attention and focus contemplation.
