Taizé Prayer is a form of worship practiced by the Taizé community in France, characterized by the repetitive singing of simple harmonized tunes, often in various languages, interspersed with readings, prayers, and periods of silence. Taizé music highlights simple phrases, usually lines from the Psalms or other pieces of scripture, repeated or sung in canon to help meditation and prayer.
