Binghamton University's "Harpur Studio Jazz Band," directed by Professor Laurence Elder, is a dynamic and versatile student ensemble with an emphasis on funk, fusion, contemporary and Latin Jazz. In addition to its on-campus performances, the group has recently been featured on television for the long-running community arts showcase WSKG Expressions, and also makes frequent appearances at venues such as Atomic Tom’s in downtown Binghamton. Featuring special guests "Husband Material" and music by Art Blakey, Eddie Palmieri, Robert Glasper and The Beatles to name a few, this upcoming performance is one you won't want to miss!
