Join us as we honor the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation with a day-long exhibition, highlighting the history of the boarding school era and the continued impact for families and communities today. Through testimony, art, literature and film, the exhibit bringing awareness to Native American generational trauma, colonial violence and healing. Acknowledge the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, also known as Orange Shirt Day) is a day for recognizing the historical atrocities of Native American boarding schools. A light reception will follow the presentation.

Everyone is encouraged to wear orange throughout the day to spread awareness and show solidarity for Native American and Indigenous communities impacted by this history and its ongoing impacts.
