In recognition of National Hunger Action Month, the Decker College of Nursing and Health Sciences will host a Hunger 101 training session offered by the Food Bank of the Southern Tier.

Hunger 101 is an introductory hunger simulation training that gives participants a sense of what it’s like to experience food insecurity, as well as what the food bank and its partners are doing to address food insecurity, and how community members can get involved. During this session, participants will learn about food insecurity locally and nationally.

This event will be held in-person in room HSB 101, located on the Health Sciences campus.
