Mountainview Jams/Open Mic Night

NOTE: The FEB 10 JAM IS CANCELED--SEE YOU ON THE 24th!===========================Calling all musicians and music lovers: come to Mountainview Jams! Open jam/open mic held in the APP dining hall. There will be a full band setup, with mics, PA speakers, full drum kit, an electric guitar and amp, an acoustic guitar, a bass guitar and amp, keyboard, lights, and cables to plug in additional instruments. All levels and all styles welcome, including singers with or without backing tracks, and poets as well. Perform by yourself, with a friend, or with the house band, Dr. Dana & the Jam Dept, or just come out to listen and support your fellow students. Open to all. (Faculty and staff are also welcome.) NEW THIS SEMESTER: We will be producing multi-track recordings of all performances that we will share with all performers to use however they like. Let's rock! The evening will start off with a mini-set by Dr. Dana & the Jam Dept at 5:15, and then the jam will begin at 5:45. Hosted by Mountainview Collegiate Professor Dr. Dana and Mountainview Res Life.
