As midterms begin to approach, mental health and healthy outlets are an important way to cope with academic stress. A very easy, beginner level yoga and meditation session will be hosted in the Mountainview quad, weather dependent. If the weather does not permit this or if it is too cold, it can be held in the large Marcy common room. I will play relaxing yoga music and lead the participants through some easy yoga poses and guide them through their breathing and mindfulness, helping them to focus their mind and body on their academic and personal goals. I will then lead them through shavasana, which is a relaxing meditation which will allow the participants to relax and relieve their stress.
