Join us for an engaging conversation bridging the gap between LGBTQ+ young people and older generations. Our speaker, Janna Barkin '88, is an alum of the university and has written two books related to parenting and grandparenting transgender children. She will be joining us on Sunday, October 20th in the Binghamton University Union room 111 from 5-6:30pm for an interactive conversation. Adults from older generations from the greater Binghamton community are welcome at this workshop to widen the scope of the conversation. Janna has written He's Always Been my Son and A Grand Love, both highlighting the connections between trans children and cishet parents and grandparents.

This event is open to all students, staff, faculty, and community members.

Binghamton University is committed to providing universal access to all of our events. Please contact us at lgbtq@binghamton.edu to request accommodations. Advance notice is necessary to arrange for some accessibility needs.
