The Lavender Celebration will be held from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Saturday, April 27, in Old Union Hall in the University Union. The celebration is designed to honor and affirm the academic achievements of queer and trans graduates as well as recognize students, faculty and staff who have directly engaged with and uplifted the LGBTQ+ campus community. If you would like to be a part of this celebration, you can register for this event now and you will be sent a formal RSVP form in March. The event will have light brunch-themed food options and participants will receive a free rainbow cord to wear during Commencement. Graduates can bring up to two guests to the celebration. Faculty, staff, and students not graduating are welcome to attend the event as well.
