Dr. Nic Francisco received their PhD in Political Science from the University of Oregon. Their doctoral research explored the social movement organizing of LGBTQ prisoners toward prison abolition. This teach-in will focus on trans experiences in the prison industrial complex. This teach-in will be part lecture-style, part discussion.
