Despite the vast majority of the Black diaspora residing in Latin America, the systems of anti-Blackness that gave way to colonialism still thrive in the region. Though they are the heart and soul of Latine culture, Afro-Latines are still at the center of anti-Black discrimination in Latin America. This Thursday, we'll have a discussion about the different manifestations of anti-Black racism in Latin America and how they can be combatted systemically and interpersonally.
