Did you know that all digital content that is shared through Binghamton University's websites, attached to emails, in Brightspace, and any other Binghamton outlet must be accessible? This requirement is not just a matter of university policy—it’s the law.

But how do we ensure accessibility, and what steps can we take to fix issues and avoid potential penalties?

This workshop will provide a clear overview of what accessibility means, why it’s essential, and, most importantly, how to achieve it. If you’re unsure where to start or feel like you don’t even know what you don’t know, this session is for you.

Join Krista Poppe and Kris MacDonald from Information Technology Services on Monday December 16th to learn more!

If you anticipate a need for disability-related accommodations to attend or participate in this Zoom event, please contact kpoppe@binghamton.edu. We ask that you provide us with at least 3 days advance notice regarding your equal access needs.
