Our Mission:
As the primary resource for the international community at Binghamton University, the ISSS advocates on behalf of international students and scholars. We provide programs that help them adapt to varied cultures of the university, community, and country.
The key role of the Office of International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) is to facilitate compliance with the federal regulations that govern international students and scholars. The ISSS provides education, information and services in support of these regulations to the international population; the University community; and local, state and federal entities.
The ISSS supports the University's goal to internationalize. We partner with other offices, departments, divisions and student groups at Binghamton University and organizations in the local area. We help nurture the growth of an international community and foster an environment that is responsive to its needs.
