Join us The Office of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Partnerships invites you to the third annual Innovation to Impact Symposium, on Wednesday, April 29, 2026 during Research Days. This event showcases Binghamton University faculty advancing their research toward real-world applications with support from the EXCEED program. Join fellow faculty and guest speakers to explore practical pathways for extending the impact of your research beyond the lab. This event, i2I, hosted by Entrepreneurship and Innovation Partnerships will highlight the success and opportunities through the Binghamton Excellence in Entrepreneurship and Discovery (EXCEED) program, supported by the NSF Accelerating Research Translation (ART) initiative.

i2I is open to all faculty, entrepreneurs, innovators, researchers, research administrators, technology transfer professionals and students to explore critical topics surrounding academic innovation and the challenges of transitioning research to the marketplace.

The symposium will foster a culture of use-inspired R&D and entrepreneurship with speakers, chats with EXCEED awardees, and staff will dive into how to best support, scale and sustain research that can have societal and industry impact with support from EXCEED, Tech Transfer and more at Binghamton University.

i2I includes an inventor recognition ceremony for faculty inventors who received 2025 patents. Early registration is encouraged. The program will conclude at 4 p.m. and go directly into a reception for the Art of Science exhibition as part of Research Days at Binghamton University.
Food Provided (Lunch is provided to those who have RSVP'd and attend the Symposium.)
