Onam is a South Indian harvest festival typically celebrated in the Indian state of Kerela which celebrates the homecoming of King Mahabali. On the day of the feast of thanksgiving, students are invited to come celebrate this important event with traditional Indian attire (or formal attire) and traditional vegetarian food options. The entrance fee is $5, and 100% of the proceeds will go to MAITRI. It's a free, con´¼üdential, nonpro´¼üt organization based in the San Francisco Bay Area that primarily helps families and individuals from South Asia facing domestic violence, emotional abuse, cultural alienation, or family con´¼éict.
