United Kingdom: Urban Fiction and Urban Sites is a summer study abroad program led by Binghamton Professor Amir Ahmadi. Students will spend just over 5 weeks on-site in London, exploring the diverse literary portrayals of the city. Participants will study how novels and films create many new Londons out of the same streets, cafés, Tube stations, and riverbanks, see the city like a storyteller, and learn how to become one. Students will get to further experience London through visits to the Dickens Museum, British Library, and Southbank Centre. Earn 4 credits (ENG 380). General education credit will be offered for Humanities (H) and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Social Justice (D). Previous knowledge of the course content is not required.

Join us for this info session to learn more! Wednesday, January 28 from 11:30am to noon in UU 122. Event registration is optional, but encouraged!
