Spend spring break 2025 in Italy engaging with questions about “making” in the ancient Roman world - namely what processes and people were responsible for crafts and craft production in the Roman Mediterranean. Visit archaeological sites and museums in and around Rome (Roman Forum, Palatine Hill, Baths of Caracalla, Pantheon, and other locations). Excursions beyond the city will take students to Tivoli, Ostia, and Northern Suburbium. Earn 4 credits (SCHL 282A - 01). General education credit will be offered for Aesthetics (A), Information Literacy (I), and Oral Communication (O). Previous knowledge of the course content or Italian is not required. Join us for this info session to learn more!

This info session will be held in IEGI's office in Old Champlain 240. Not sure where to find us? We're located in the same building as Harpur Advising, across the street from C4. If you have any questions about where to find this info session, email Linda Torricelli (ltorrice@binghamton.edu).

Click here for additional information and/or to start an application. Applications are due October 1, 2024.

Please note that the spring 2025 program requires a minimum of 10 committed applicants to run.
