On the western edge of the Australian mainland lies Perth. Voted as one of the most liveable cities in the world, Perth enjoys more sunshine than any other capital city in Australia. Although Perth is famous for its beautiful beaches and relaxed lifestyle, those looking for music, arts and culture, festivals, markets, cafés and restaurants can easily find them in the city's nearby central port city of Fremantle.

Binghamton University offers two programs in Australia—a fall/spring semester option, as well as a summer semester option that has an emphasis on researching marine biology.
