Details

Spend spring break 2027 in Rome exploring Italy's modern history from unification in the 1860s through the present. Through primary sources, film, literature, and scholarly writing, students will explore persistent tensions between north and south, state and society, and national rhetoric and regional loyalties.. Earn 4 credits (HIST 381J). General education credit will be offered for N (Social Sciences), T (Critical Thinking), and I (Information Literacy). Previous knowledge of the course content or Italian is not required.
