FREE Human Papillomavirus (HPV) Event

HPV is estimated to cause nearly 36,000 cases of cancer in men and women every year in the United States. The HPV vaccination can prevent more than 32,000 of these cancers from ever developing.

We are partnering with the Broome County Health Department and UHS to hold this free event. Come learn the facts about HPV and how to protect yourself from HPV-related cancers at this free HPV information and vaccination event.

We will have a panel discussion, presentation, and Q&A session about HPV on Wednesday, September 14, at 6pm at Union West, Room W324, which is located right above the campus bookstore.

Light refreshments will be provided. Binghamton University students will have the opportunity to receive an HPV vaccination at the event - be sure to bring your student ID!

Important vaccination information:
The vaccine will be $215.00. If you have health insurance, check with your health insurance provider to see if the HPV vaccine is covered. We will provide you with paperwork that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
