Travis Lageman '14 completed a BS in Biochemistry at SUNY Binghamton in 2014, after which he entered the Peace Corps for two years serving as a High School Chemistry teacher in Ghana, West Africa. Upon completion of service, Travis arrived in Baltimore City to earn his MS in Geography & Environmental Systems from UMBC with an interest in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and policy issues. During this time, he also led the development of an urban greening resource center concept known as "G.R.O.W. Centers" for Baltimore City Government. After three years in Baltimore, he now works at the EPA as an Environmental Policy Analyst in the Clean Air Markets Division focusing on data analysis and visualization.
