"I'm not sure what my professor wants!": A Workshop for College Writers (Virtual)

Students who write successfully in college learn to figure out what each new writing situation calls for, even if the class they are in right now is the only history class they intend to take. In an internship, "How do I figure out what my professor wants" becomes "How do I figure out what my supervisor wants?"

In this workshop, you'll be introduced to strategies that can help you figure out what a writing situation calls for, how to use what you already know, and how to go about learning what you need to know. We'll talk about how to identify your strengths and weaknesses, how to find the help you need, and the kinds of questions to ask your professors about writing for their classes.
