The Econ-nect series is a partnership of the Economics department and Harpur Edge to connect alumni of the Economics major with students to highlight the main areas of employment they seek: Academics, Consulting/Corporate Strategy, Finance/Banking, Government, Healthcare, Insurance and Public Policy/Advocacy/Analysis.

James Sosa '18 Management Development Program Trainee at GEICO will highlight his transition from Economics student to insurance professional. He both interned and was hired full-time by GEICO and can speak to the Management Development Program experience as he is now making his transition to a role in one function of GEICO's business.
