Day in the Life of an Endocrinologist: Dr. Mary Korytkowski

Are you interested in a career in medicine? "A Day in the Life" physician lecture series, gives students the opportunity to hear from alumni representing a vast array of profession specialties.

Dr. Mary Korytkowski, is a Professor of Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh. She is an Endocrinologist and an expert in the management of diabetes and the research of new hypoglycemic agents. She has been listed as the Best Diabetes Doctor in Pittsburgh for the last 25 years, an Exceptional Women in Medicine and one of the Top 5 Endocrinologists in the Northeast by Men's Health Magazine. She teaches at the Medical School and is also on the Admissions Committee. She earned her MD from the University of North Carolina and completed her residency in internal medicine at Bayview Medical Center and her fellowship in Endocrinology at John Hopkins and Mount Sinai Hospital of Baltimore.
